CIJS students, friends and families can help out with our community outreach programs during this holiday season and months to come by participating in one of the following collection drives:
Soda Can Tab collection – The tabs are recycled by The Ronald McDonald House for their aluminum content. The funds raised through their recycling program are used to help many families stay together while receiving treatment for their seriously ill or injured children.
Holiday Feast Drive – We will be brightening the spirits of those in our community who cannot afford a holiday meal. You and your children can help us by collecting canned and boxed goods, which will then be distributed to a local community shelter. Please bring in all of your canned and boxed goods to our school by: December 12th.
Winter Bundles – We will be collecting old fabrics and clothes for our students to cut into patterns and decorate and then sewn onto wool fabric to be used as blankets. The blankets will be distributed within the community to those less fortunate to help keep them warm during the winter months.
